Custom application fields
Add your own fields to the wholesale application form, such as company name, tax ID or business type, and control which standard fields show.
Custom application fields let you collect exactly the information you need before approving a wholesale customer. You can add your own fields, such as a tax ID or a business type dropdown, and hide or require the standard fields.
Go to ViteWholesale → Custom Fields. The screen has two tabs: Custom Fields List and Custom Field Form.
Add a custom field
- On the Custom Fields List tab, click Add Custom Field.
- Enter a Form Label, for example
Tax ID. - Choose a Field Type.
- Set Show Where to Customer. This is the setting that puts the field on the wholesale application form.
- Optionally, add Help Text.
- Set the toggles:
- Half Field: shows the field at half width, so two fields can sit side by side.
- Required: customers must fill the field in before they can submit.
- Status: only active fields appear on the form.
- Click Save.
Field types

For Dropdown, Radio, Checkboxes and Switch, a Field Options section appears. Click Add Option and give each option a Title, which customers see, and a Value, which is stored.
Manage your fields
The Custom Fields List shows each field's Label, Type, Place to show, Order and Status.
- Reorder: use the up and down arrows in the Order column to change where a field appears on the form.
- Edit: click Edit to change a field.
- Delete: click Delete to remove it.
- Search: find fields by name.
Custom fields appear on the form after the standard fields.
Show, hide or require standard fields
The Custom Field Form tab lists every field on the Wholesale Application Form Fields, both standard and custom, with two controls:
- Hide: hides or shows the field. For a custom field, this switches its Status between active and inactive.
- Required: makes the field required or optional.
The first time this tab opens, it sets up the standard field list: First Name, Last Name, Email, Username, Mobile, City, Street, Country, Postcode and State. First Name, Last Name and Mobile start as required. Review the list and hide anything you don't want to ask for.
Email and Username always come from the customer's account and are read-only on the form.
What customers see
In My Account → Wholesale, the application form shows every visible standard field followed by your active custom fields. Required fields must be filled in before Submit Application works.
Where the answers show up
When you review an application in ViteWholesale → Applications, click View Details. The customer's answers are listed under Submitted Fields. Each application keeps its own answers, so a customer who applies again doesn't overwrite their earlier submission. See Wholesale applications.
Note: If Pro is deactivated, your custom fields no longer appear on the application form, and customers see only the standard fields. Your hide and required choices for the standard fields still apply.
