Pricing rules
Build wholesale discounts with rule groups, product and category conditions, minimum quantities, and percentage or fixed discounts.
A pricing rule is a discount, either a percentage or a fixed amount, that applies to the products you choose. Rules don't do anything on their own. They apply only to customers whose badge includes the rule.
Create a pricing rule
- Go to ViteWholesale → Pricing Rules and click Add Pricing Rule.
- Enter a Rule Name.
- Under Rules, set up at least one rule group with conditions. See below.
- Choose a Discount Type: Percentage or Fixed.
- Enter a Discount Value.
- Leave Status on and click Save.
- Open ViteWholesale → Badges, edit a badge, and add the rule under Pricing Rules.
Discount types

The base price is the product's sale price or regular price, depending on the Base Price setting. A discount never takes a price below $0.00. See Settings.
Rule groups and conditions
Conditions decide which products a rule discounts. They're organized into rule groups.
- A new rule starts with one empty group, Rule Group# 1. Click Add Rules Group to add more.
- Inside a group, click Add Rule to add a condition row.
- Rows inside a group combine with AND. All of them must be true.
- Groups combine with OR. The rule applies if any one group matches.
Each condition row has four parts:
- Product or Category
- An operator: Equal to, Not equal to or Except
- The product (search by name) or category
- Min qty, the minimum quantity required
Below each group, Vite Wholesale writes a plain-language sentence such as "Apply this rule to products in the Clothing category, with a quantity of 5 for each product." Read it to confirm the group does what you expect.
Note: A group with no conditions matches no products. A rule with no groups matches nothing either.
Operators

Min qty counts the quantity of a single cart line, not the combined total across products. For example, "Clothing, Min qty 5" is met by 5 of one hoodie, not by 3 hoodies plus 2 T-shirts.
Except removes items from a group's discount. A group containing only an Except row discounts everything except that product or category.
Conditions across the cart
In the cart, a group's conditions can be met by different products. Suppose a group says "Clothing, Min qty 2 AND Music, Min qty 2". A cart holding 3 hoodies and 2 albums matches that group, so both lines get the discount. An unrelated item in the same cart doesn't, because each discounted line must match at least one of the group's conditions itself.
Example: tiered bulk discount
To give 10% off 10 or more and 20% off 50 or more of any product in the Office category:
- Create rule Office 10%: one group with Category, Equal to, Office, Min qty 10, and a Percentage discount of
10. - Create rule Office 20%: one group with Category, Equal to, Office, Min qty 50, and a Percentage discount of
20. - Add both rules to the same badge.
With the default Minimum Price strategy, a customer buying 60 gets the lower price from the 20% rule.
Managing rules
From the Pricing Rules list you can Edit, Delete, or switch a rule between Active and Inactive. A rule attached to a badge can't be deleted or deactivated. The message names the badges using it, so remove the rule from those badges first.
Things to know
- Products without a regular price are never discounted.
- Groups that use Not equal to apply only in the cart and at checkout, so they never show a product-page hint. See Storefront pricing.
