Wholesale Shop
Give approved wholesale customers a fast order page with search, category filters and a live cart, as a standalone page or a shortcode.
The Wholesale Shop is a dedicated ordering page for approved wholesale customers. It lists your products in a compact grid with search, category filters and a cart panel beside it, so customers can build large orders quickly.
The Wholesale Shop page
When Pro is active, it creates a published WordPress page called Wholesale Shop (slug wholesale-shop) for you. The page contains the [wholesale_shop] shortcode.
- You can rename the page or add it to your menus like any other page.
- Don't delete, trash or unpublish it to hide it. Pro checks for the page and creates a fresh one if the original is no longer published.
- Approved wholesale customers also get a Wholesale Shop link in My Account that opens this page.
Choose a display mode
Go to ViteWholesale → Settings → Page Settings. The tab shows the [wholesale_shop] shortcode with a Copy button, and a Wholesale Shop Display Mode option:
| Mode | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shortcode (default) | The shop appears inside your theme's normal layout, with your header, footer and sidebar. |
| Full Page | The Wholesale Shop page is shown as a standalone page, without your theme's header, footer or sidebar. |
Click Save Settings after changing the mode.
Full Page mode only applies to the auto-created Wholesale Shop page. You can also paste [wholesale_shop] into any other page or post; there it always renders inside your theme's layout, whichever mode you pick.
Who can see the shop
What a visitor sees on the shop page depends on who they are:
- Logged-out visitors see a short message asking them to log in, with a Log In button that brings them back afterwards.
- Logged-in customers without a badge see the What is Wholesale? card with an Apply for Wholesale button. See Wholesale applications.
- Customers who hold a badge see the full shop with their wholesale prices. See Customer badges.
Note: If Pro is deactivated, the page stays but the shop doesn't load. Visitors see "Wholesale Shop is currently unavailable", and administrators see a note that it's a Pro feature.
What customers see
- Search: a search box that matches the product name or SKU.
- Categories: an All Products button plus your top-level product categories. Categories with sub-categories open a Select Sub-category list.
- Product grid: each card shows the image, name and the customer's wholesale price. Products load 24 at a time, with a Load more button.
- Variable products: clicking Add to Cart opens Select Variations so the customer can pick options first.
- Your Cart: the panel lists each item with a quantity control, the Wholesale Price and the Discount saved. It shows the item count and Total, with Clear All, Proceed to Checkout and, if quotes are enabled, Request Quote buttons.
The cart is the customer's normal WooCommerce cart. Proceed to Checkout goes to your regular checkout, and anything added in the shop is also in the cart elsewhere on your site.
Good to know
- Prices: prices come from the customer's badge and your pricing rules. The shop doesn't add any pricing of its own.
- Quantity limit: the Maximum Input Quantity setting under ViteWholesale → Settings → Rule Settings caps the quantity of each cart line. Customers see "Maximum quantity of … reached" when they hit it. See Settings.
- Quotes: to show Request Quote in the cart panel, turn on quote requests. See Quote negotiation.
