Installation

Vite Wholesale comes in two plugins. The free plugin, Vite Wholesale, contains the wholesale core. The paid plugin, Vite Wholesale Pro, adds extra features on top of it. Install the free plugin first, then add Pro if you have it.

#Requirements

• A WordPress site with WooCommerce installed and active. Vite Wholesale's storefront, application and checkout features all rely on WooCommerce.
• PHP 7.4 or newer. Both plugins declare this minimum.

Vitepos is not required. If you use it, see Vitepos (Pro).

#Install the free plugin

#From the WordPress plugin directory

1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
2. Search for Vite Wholesale.
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

#From a zip file

Use this method if you downloaded the plugin instead.

1. Download the Vite Wholesale zip file.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.

After activation, a ViteWholesale item appears in your admin menu. Opening it takes you to Settings first.

#Install Vite Wholesale Pro

Pro is delivered as a zip file.

1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
2. Choose the Vite Wholesale Pro zip file and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate Plugin.

Pro runs alongside the free Vite Wholesale plugin, so keep both installed and active.

Once Pro is active, the Pro screens in the ViteWholesale menu unlock and their "Pro" tags disappear. A License item is also added under Admin Menu. It shows your license status, license type, expiry dates and license key, and it has a Deactivate License button.

#After installing

1. Check that WooCommerce is active and that your products have a regular price. Products without a regular price never get wholesale pricing.
2. Visit ViteWholesale → Settings and review the defaults. See Settings.
3. Follow the Quick start to set up your first pricing rule and badge.

#Updating

Update Vite Wholesale and Vite Wholesale Pro like any other plugin. If a screen looks out of date or data seems missing after an update, go to ViteWholesale → Settings and click Refresh App. This re-checks the plugin's database tables.
