Settings
Every option on the Vite Wholesale Settings screen, covering general, rule and page settings for the free plugin and Pro.
Go to ViteWholesale → Settings to control how wholesale pricing and checkout behave. The screen has three tabs: General Settings, Rule Settings and Page Settings. Each tab has its own Save Settings button.
Settings marked Pro in the tables below appear locked with a "Pro" tag until Vite Wholesale Pro is active.
General Settings
| Setting | Plan | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Badge Payment | Free | At checkout, shows only the payment methods allowed by the customer's badge. See Customer badges. |
| Disable Coupon | Free | Stops wholesale customers from applying coupons on the Cart and Checkout pages. |
| Custom Address Feature Enabled | Pro | Turns on the saved-address book. When off, customers use WooCommerce's normal single billing and shipping address. See Address book and checkout. |
| Enable Quote Request | Pro | Lets approved wholesale customers submit new quote requests. When off, the Request Quote button is hidden. Existing quotes aren't affected. See Quote negotiation. |
| Enable Email Notification | Pro | Sends wholesale emails. When off, no wholesale emails are sent. See Email templates. |
| Vitepos integration | Pro | Syncs wholesale pricing and badges with Vitepos. See Vitepos. |
| Disable Discount Button | Pro | Hides or disables the discount button in Vitepos. Shown once the Vitepos integration is on. |
| Disable Fee Button | Pro | Hides or disables the fee button in Vitepos. Shown once the Vitepos integration is on. |
| Badge Upgrade Order Status | Pro | Chooses which order statuses count toward a customer's purchase total for badge upgrades. The default is Completed. See Badge upgrades. |
All toggles on this tab are off by default.
Disable Coupon is enforced on the server as well as hidden in the cart. A wholesale customer who tries to apply a coupon anyway sees "You are a wholesale user. You cannot apply coupons." Retail customers aren't affected.
The Refresh App button at the bottom of this tab re-checks the plugin's database tables. Use it if a screen shows errors or missing data after an update.
Rule Settings
These settings shape how pricing rules turn into a final price. They apply to the free plugin and to Pro.
Rule Priority Strategy
This setting decides what happens when more than one rule on a customer's badge matches the same product.
- Minimum Price (default): use the lowest price. If Rule A gives $5 and Rule B gives $3, the customer pays $3.
- Maximum Price: use the highest price. In the same case, the customer pays $5.
Base Price
This setting chooses which product price discounts are calculated from.
- Sale Price (default): discounts start from the sale price when one is set.
- Regular Price: discounts always start from the regular price.
If no rule matches a product, the customer pays WooCommerce's normal price whichever option you pick.
Maximum Input Quantity
This setting limits how many units of one product a customer can enter. The allowed range is 1 to 99,999, and the default is 99,999. It's used by the Wholesale Shop (Pro).
Enable Cost Protection
This setting stops a wholesale rule from pricing a product below its cost plus a margin. It's off by default. When it's on, a Margin Value field appears, and any rule price below that floor is raised to the floor.
The margin is an amount in your store currency, so a cost of $10.00 with a margin of 2 gives a floor of $12.00. Protection needs a cost stored on the product in the _wc_cog_cost field used by cost-of-goods plugins. Products without a stored cost aren't protected.
Page Settings
| Setting | Plan | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Wholesale Shop shortcode | Free and Pro | Shows the [wholesale_shop] shortcode with a Copy button |
| Wholesale Shop Display Mode | Pro | Chooses how the Wholesale Shop page is displayed |
The Wholesale Shop Display Mode options are:
- Shortcode (default): place
[wholesale_shop]on any page, and the shop appears inside your theme's normal header, footer and sidebar. - Full Page: the shop appears as a standalone page without your theme's header, footer or sidebar.
Pro: The Wholesale Shop is a Pro feature. Without Pro, a page containing
[wholesale_shop]shows administrators a notice that the shop needs Pro, and shows other visitors a "currently unavailable" message. See Wholesale Shop.
Pro: Badge upgrades are manual by default, with a one-click upgrade for eligible customers on the Customers screen. An optional auto-upgrade mode is off by default. See Badge upgrades.
